We're thrilled to announce the launch of Collabor8 Military Team Member, a groundbreaking addition to the Collabor8 methodology.
While our existing Team and Family curriculum focuses on facilitating collaborative planning and team-building at the organizational level, this new curriculum provides a complementary approach.
Collabor8 Team Member develops individual team member skills - focusing on how service members adapt to teams, take ownership, and contribute effectively regardless of rank or position.
Key Differentiators:
Ideal for soldier training events: Participants from across any organization will benefit from this training – doesn’t not require existing teams to participate together
Individual Development Focus: Builds personal team member capabilities
Ownership Without Authority: Empowers every team member to influence team culture
Portable Skills: Applicable across any team environment or assignment
Eight Core Skills: Taking ownership, enabling collaboration, planning, communication, trust-building, reflecting, perspective-taking, and building consistent habits
Practical Application: Designed for use during team-strengthening activities and real-world team situations

Questions?
We know you'll have questions about how this fits with your current Collabor8 work. Here are answers to what we anticipate:
Q: How does this relate to the Team Guidebook?
A: The Team Guidebook is for leaders facilitating organizational team development. The Team Member Guide develops individual skills that support that work. Think of them as complementary - one develops the team system, the other develops the individuals within it.
Q: Can I use both curricula with the same unit?
A: Absolutely! Many trainers will use Team Member Guide during team-strengthening activities, then facilitate collaborative planning using the Team Guidebook. They work beautifully together.
Q: Do I need to be re-certified on my existing curriculum?
A: No - your current certification remains valid. This is an additional certification that expands your toolkit.
Q: What's the time commitment beyond March 11th?
A: Just the 90-minute virtual session. You'll receive all materials and be ready to deliver immediately afterward.
Q: Will there be ongoing support?
A: Yes - just like your existing Collabor8 certification, you'll have access to our trainer community, updated materials, and ongoing consultation as needed.
We'd love to have you join us on March 11th.
