TeamUp specializes in collaborative experiences that improve team cohesion and performance. Prior to founding TeamUp, Damon spent over 25 years building strong teams in United States Army Infantry and Special Operations Units. His experience includes leading elite teams, developing organizational strategy, and operational planning for global organizations dedicated to addressing the most complex national security challenges.

Throughout many combat and operational deployments, Damon regularly found it necessary to bring together diverse teams to solve complex problems. These hands-on lessons form the foundation of the TeamUp approach.

Damon’s training includes certifications in human centered design, team coaching, strategic planning, and risk taking. Damon has an MA in Public Management from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. Damon and his wife Gina have two children and reside in North Carolina.
